Description
This examination of the important Daoist thinker Zhuangzi was originally published in 1983 and consists of nine essays that have become classics in the field.
A few years ago, the book went out of print. Now the editor makes it available again in an updated format with pinyin transcription, Chinese characters embedded in the text, and reference style notes.
In addition, it also includes four new papers, two recently published and two that appear here for the first time.
A well respected textbook and essential reader in Daoist thought, Experimental Essays continued to constitute and essential contribution to the study of Daoism and Chinese philosophy.
